The SIRIUS 3.0 Peer Learning Activity (PLA) in Estonia focused on integrating non-formal learning (NFL) into the formal education system, with particular emphasis on supporting migrant learners. Hosted in Pärnu, the event brought together participants from eight European countries to share best practices and explore how NFL can complement formal education. Estonian stakeholders highlighted the country’s strong educational outcomes, including high student satisfaction and literacy rates, while also recognising NFL’s potential to enhance student engagement. However, participants noted the need for further improvements to better integrate NFL into the system.
